Our motivation to go to Arizona was to attend the wedding of Ann's nephew Alex Jehle. On August 2nd, Patrick, Ann and Donovan flew to Arizona. We stayed in Tucson with dear friends Cammy and Doug Vaughan for several days, enjoying visits to the Arizona Desert Museum, Saguaro National Forest, Mount Lemmon, and Sabino Canyon.

We visited Kartchner Caverns near Benson, AZ. We couldn't take pictures in the cave, but we took several in the park. Then we drove to Rio Rico to stay with Ann's sister, Jean Windmiller, and her husband Paul Jehle.
